The Healthy Auburn Waters campaign for businesses gives positive recognition for the efforts of local businesses in keeping our waterways healthy and our sewers free from cooking grease and fats.  We encourage businesses to help spread the word by making THE PLEDGE to the Principles of Good Stewardship. All businesses who sign up will receive:

2. low-tack stickers to adhear to your store window or on vehicles

Information about Hazardous Waste Disposal for Businesses
Businesses that generate less than 220 pounds or 27 gallons of hazardous waste per month may be able to qualify as Conditionally Exempt Small Quantity Generators (CESQG).

For more information about CESQGs, please call the Placer County Environmental Health Department at (530) 889-7335 and ask for the Hazardous Materials Section.
